Kot Auto Group has opened what it says is Canada’s largest Hyundai dealership in Langford, B.C., alongside a new standalone Genesis facility, according to a company announcement.
The new Hyundai store spans more than 75,000 square feet and replaces the group’s previous downtown Victoria location. The facility includes an underground garage with capacity for approximately 170 vehicles, designed to improve inventory management and streamline customer access.
“Our team is incredibly proud to bring this vision to life,” said John Kot, President of Kot Auto Group, in a statement. “This new facility reflects our ongoing commitment to our customers and community, offering an elevated automotive experience with cutting-edge amenities and expanded capacity.”
Located at 2930 Brickshire Dr., the Langford site was built to accommodate growing demand across Vancouver Island, particularly as interest in electric vehicles continues to rise. The dealership incorporates updated retail and service layouts intended to increase efficiency and support higher sales and service volumes.
Among its features is a drive-through express service lane for all makes and models, aimed at reducing wait times and improving throughput in fixed operations. Expanded service capacity is expected to play a key role as vehicle parc complexity increases, including the servicing needs associated with battery electric vehicles.
Victoria Hyundai has also been recognized as a 2025 Green Star Winner for top battery electric vehicle sales on Vancouver Island, reflecting the store’s positioning in EV adoption within the region.
The adjacent Genesis facility introduces the luxury brand to Vancouver Island with a dedicated showroom and ownership experience tailored to premium buyers. The standalone format aligns with Genesis’s broader retail strategy, which emphasizes distinct branding and customer service.
Both locations officially opened April 1.
