The Canadian Automobile Dealers Association announced the formation of a new Canadian Truck Division (CTD) within the association and has hired a veteran from the industry to oversee its new area of operations.
The division was created to better meet the needs of heavy- and medium-duty truck dealers. The expert in question that CADA hired is Kevin Disher, Executive Director, Trucks.
“This strategic hire underscores CADA’s commitment to providing dedicated and expert leadership with decades of industry experience to lead this vital new initiative,” said Tim Reuss, CADA’s President and CEO, in a statement.
Reuss said Disher has a proven track record in strategic leadership, P&L management, dealer network development, and industry relations. This, he said, makes him “exceptionally well-suited to lead the CTD Committee and deliver tangible value to our truck dealer members.”
CADA said the CTD committee will report directly to CADA’s Board and will be chaired by Shane Bosch, President & CEO of Glover Trucks International. They added that Bosch has more than 20 years of experience in the transportation industry. He also represents a heavy- and medium-duty truck dealership that has been operating for more than 40 years, and with multiple locations across Alberta.
