Toyota Canada an Electrified Fleet Partner of 2025 Canada Games

Toyota Canada was named the Electrified Fleet Partner of the 2025 Canada Games, which will be held in St. John’s in Newfoundland and Labrador from August 8 to 25.

“Toyota Canada, along with our Atlantic Canada dealers, are proud to support the Canada Games by providing them with a fleet of fully electric vehicles,” said Patrick Ryan, TCI’s Atlantic and Quebec Zone Manager, in a statement.

The 2025 Canada Games feature able-bodied athletes and athletes with physical and intellectual disabilities, who take part in a multi-sport event that alternates between winter and summer — depending on the year. The games span more than 30 different sports.

Through the partnership, the OEM will provide a fleet of 50 fully electric bZ4X vehicles to support the operations, logistics, and transportation needs of the event. Toyota Canada will also provide hands-on training for its EVs for Games volunteers. The partnership is backed by all 26 Toyota dealerships across Atlantic Canada.

“Our Toyota dealers will be cheering on their local athletes, coaches and families participating in the Games — a clear demonstration of community connection and regional pride.”

The Canada Summer Games spans two weeks of competition, includes between 16 and 20 sports, around 4,600 participants (athletes, coaches and managers), and more than 5,000 volunteers.
