Reynolds partners with UVeye to improve service inspections

A collaboration between Reynolds and Reynolds and UVeye to improve service inspections opens the door for service advisors to offer a more transparent view when discussing potential areas of concern to customers.

For Reynolds it likely means that service advisors at thousands of dealerships operating with Reynolds’ system, and equipped with UVeye’s AI-powered vehicle inspection technology, can approach customers with actionable information.

“The ability to provide customers with a transparent understanding of potential issues their vehicle may have, and not blindside them with unexpected added work, builds credibility and goodwill,” said Omer Bar-Joseph, Chief Commercial Officer at UVeye, in a statement.

Bar-Joseph added that customer service is the lynchpin to retaining customers and to turning their dealership experience into a positive one. “This collaboration allows for dealerships to start that experience off on the right foot.”

The process starts when a customer arrives at a dealership; their vehicle is scanned with UVeye’s system, which is when the advisor is alerted through Reynolds’ ERA-IGNITE with an indication. That indication will let them know if and what items to review with the customer. It also flags areas that technicians may want to inspect more closely.

“In most service departments, there are two things that lead to happy customers and increased performance — efficiency and upsell percentage. The more we can bring into Reynolds Retail Management System, the more efficiency is created, and UVeye has proven to be a great tool to help increase closing ratios,” said Jason Sideris, VP of Fixed Operations Product Management for Reynolds.
