A Canadian dealership celebrated its 100th anniversary in December just prior to the holidays in British Columbia. The century old business is Dearborn Ford in Kamloops and it’s been around since 1924.
The dealership endured economic shifts, technological advancements, and changing consumer needs. Dearborn Ford said it has remained steadfast in its dedication to quality, integrity, and service over the years. On advancements in electric vehicles, sustainability efforts, and customer-focused innovations, they are embracing the future while also honouring aspects that have defined the dealership’s legacy.
“We’re not just celebrating where we’ve been but also where we’re going,” said Dearborn Ford in a news release. “Our promise is to continue serving this community with the same dedication and care that have guided us for 100 years.”
Dearborn Ford also noted that it built its reputation as a community-driven business, having given back to Kamloops for decades. They have championed countless local initiatives, including sponsoring youth sports teams, supporting local charities, contributing to the Royal Inland Hospital, and hosting community events like charity golf tournaments — among other things.
To mark its 100th anniversary, Dearborn Ford will host a series of celebrations in 2025 and invite the community to attend. The celebrations will include a centennial gala, special promotions, and other events.
