Sunrise Ford (CNW Group/Kot Auto Group)
Kot Auto Group announced the addition of its 10th dealership, Sunrise Ford, as part of a strategic plan to add five more dealerships to the group by 2029.
Effective as of June 25 (but announced towards the end of August), the acquisition of a new and used Ford dealership with service department and body shop brings a lot of buzz to the company; it advances its goal of 15 dealerships and adds its first Ford brand and body shop under the Kot Auto umbrella, as well as its first location in the South Cariboo region of central British Columbia.
“We are excited to bring an additional domestic brand to our portfolio and allow for more opportunity with our team and our customers,” said John Kot, President of Kot Auto Group. “I am confident that with the Kot Auto Group, alongside long-term General Manager Scott Muir, who has joined as partner of Sunrise Ford, we will achieve exceptional results.”
Sunrise Ford is located at 872 Alpine Ave, 100 Mile House, B.C. In an update, the Kot Auto Group said it is dedicated to community involvement and looks forward to carrying on its commitment to 100 Mile House. The group intends to introduce campaigns such as the “Kot Coat Drive,” the “Pay if Forward” campaign, and/or “Operation 100” — the last of which involves donating $100 per vehicle sold to a local charity.
