Reynolds launches Spark AI to help dealers solve daily issues

Reynolds and Reynolds recently launched Spark AI, an artificial intelligence data layer that powers all of its AI products, as the company seeks to leverage AI and machine learning to help auto dealers make “tremendous” leaps forward.

In a news release, Reynolds said Spark AI eliminates silos created by AI tools and provides a broader data set, resulting in smarter tools. According to the company’s President Chris Walsh, their approach involves having products that work seamlessly with each other.

“Artificial intelligence and machine learning tools are just beginning to come into their own. As a result, some still struggle to get disparate applications to coordinate and function together as a whole to get the most benefit out of AI across their systems,” said Walsh in a statement.

He added that the company’s more forward-thinking approach “has made it possible to implement widespread AI benefits across our entire Retail Management System, enabling dealers to maximize productivity, strengthen customer interactions, and make more educated decisions.”

The released AI products that leverage the single, shared Spark AI data layer are: Conversation AI (transcribes, summarizes, and tags calls with a category directly in the CRM), Engagement AI (conversational text messages), Prospect AI (identifies customers with a high propensity to buy and matches them with best-suited vehicles from inventory, among other things), and Merchandising AI (creates high-quality vehicle descriptions with key features pulled from VIN, among other things).

However, only Conversation AI and Engagement AI are currently available in Canada.
