2025 J.D Power Auto Summit will explore 3 exclusive industry outlooks

How can dealers and other automotive industry players plan to succeed in the coming year? J.D. Power plans to explore this very question through three exclusive industry outlooks that will help meet these needs.

The company’s 2025 J.D Power Auto Summit will provide a session on the U.S. Automotive Outlook that will consider the situation that dealers have fewer lessees returning to buy or lease a new vehicle. Should dealers anticipate a return to normal leasing conditions next year? Thomas King, President of Data and Analytics and Chief Product Officer at J.D. Power, will dive into the details.

There will also be a Used Vehicle Outlook that will consider the question of the potential headwinds retailers should be prepared to face in light of rising new vehicle inventory and declining retail transaction prices. Covering this topic will be Jonathan Banks, VP of Product Development and Valuation Services at J.D. Power.

An EV Outlook will be included as well, exploring how the slowed pace of electric vehicle sales will impact the overall outlook in 2025. Stewart Stropp, Executive Director of EV Intelligence at J.D. Power will tackle this topic.

The 2025 J.D. Power Auto Summit will take place at the Sheraton in New Orleans on January 23, 2025. More information about the event, including the agenda and list of speakers, is available here.
