Frost & Sullivan has recognized automotive cyber security firm Argus Cyber Security as an innovation and growth leader in its 2024 Frost Radar for Automotive Cybersecurity.
Frost Radar is an analytical tool the company uses to evaluate businesses in two main areas: its focus on continuous innovation, and its ability to translate those innovations into consistent growth. Seven automotive cyber security companies were evaluated for 2024, with Argus being one of them.
“Argus’ comprehensive suite of cyber security solutions for diversified automotive use cases and its outstanding array of strategic technological partnerships have contributed to the company’s leadership position in the newly released report,” said Dorothy Amy, Industry Analyst, Business Strategy & Innovation, Mobility at Frost & Sullivan, in a statement.
This is the first Frost Radar for the cyber security segment. Amy said their report reflects the “game-changing technological advancements” in recent years, along with the pressing need to secure connected vehicle systems from cyber threats.
Argus clinched the top position in the Innovation Index due to its diverse portfolio of cybersecurity solutions. The other companies included in the report are Upstream Security, Karamba Security, AUTOCRYPT, Cybellum Technologies, VicOne, and ETAS GmbH. All of these companies, including Argus, are dedicated to addressing cybersecurity challenges in automotive.
Frost Radar evaluates them on their Innovation and Growth indices, which offers an overview of each company’s cybersecurity offerings, research and development (R&D) endeavours, revenue trajectory, investment activities, client base, and future strategies — among other things.
