HGreg has donated $55,000 to Opération Enfant Soleil as part of the organization’s 37th telethon, which took place on June 2. HGreg has been a certified Opération Enfant Soleil Entreprise for a decade.
The company runs several fundraising campaigns, one of them being its annual “A comment, a donation” social media campaign. It donated $1 to Opération Enfant Soleil for every comment left on its posts between May 18 and June 2, raising a total of nearly $3,000 by the end.
“From our employees and members of management to our customers, everyone is aware how much we care about this cause,” says Harry Kasparian, Vice President of Marketing at HGreg, in a statement. “We all have a responsibility to ensure that children — our future — are and remain healthy (…).”
As Opération Enfant Soleil’s official transporter since 2022, HGreg said it provides the official vehicle that transports families and children in need of care. They added that several employees are also involved, on their own behalf, as part of the Parents Soleil initiative.
