Lithia and Driveway Senior VP receives Woman of the Year Award at NADA

More than 23,000 automotive retailers and industry stakeholders were present at the NADA Show 2024, an annual event run by the National Automobile Dealers Association.

One noteworthy takeaway from the show was Cox Automotive President Steve Rowley’s presentation of the Barbara Cox Woman of the Year Award to Tina Miller, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Lithia and Driveway. “Through this award, we are reiterating our dedication to promoting diversity, inclusion, and equity in the automotive industry,” he said in a statement.

Miller said she was honoured to be recognized and to be part of the community of “amazing women” who have received the award. “Supporting diversity within the automotive industry is essential as we continue to evolve the customer experience to match the uniqueness of each individual,” she said in a statement.

Cox Automotive also said it would present on behalf of the honouree the 2023-2024 Barbara Cox Memorial Scholarship of $10,000 to Haiden Wilburn. She is a Northwood University sophomore from Muskegon, Michigan and is studying automotive aftermarket management. She is also a member of the student aftermarket organization.

This year the NADA Show took place in Las Vegas, Nevada, and Canadian auto dealer was on-site to cover the show. Our take on the show will appear in the March issue of the magazine.
