Comox Valley Dodge Gala raises money for three non-profits

December 13, 2023

Canadian auto dealer loves to share stories about dealers who give back.

Comox Valley Dodge raised $32,485 at its first annual Community Champions Gala. “The event hosted more than 135 guests to a night of education and philanthropy, specifically engaging in meaningful conversations about crucial community issues,” said Carson Grant, Comox Valley Dodge Managing Partner and Dealer Principal.

Three non-profits in various stages of the household/drug population benefitted from the gala.

They were Sunday Station, which provides feeding and giving warmth to the unhoused every week; Dawn to Dawn, which works with the unhoused to transition to living quarters; and Healing Hearts, a support group which is held at the dealership on the second Tuesday of every month for people struggling with loss of loved ones to either overdose or suicide.

“We would like to thank the three vital non-profits who brought the very essence of their impactful work into the ballroom through meaningful presentations, allowing our guests to understand the significance of their work,” said Grant.

“I feel that this night was a huge success and we are so happy we were able to enrich so many people’s lives, not only through the funds raised but more importantly the message that was spread.”

Next week the dealership will be doing its Christmas On US campaign for its customers and will be giving away $10,000.
