
General Motors currently has close to 100,000 vehicles sitting in parking lots all around its factories, waiting for back-ordered parts before they can be delivered to their buyers. This situation is not surprising considering the ongoing supply chain crisis that has affected every automaker for the past two years, but it shows that things might not be improving at the moment. These undelivered vehicles contributed to the company selling 15 per cent fewer vehicles in the second quarter of the year than in the first.
