Quebec-based Martins Industries, which offers an array of tire equipment products sold across the globe, has acquired Checkpoint Safety. Based in Carnforth, England, Checkpoint’s innovative product line is devoted to wheel safety, including manufacturing the world’s first visual nut indicator.
The visual nut indicator ensures every driver and fleet operator has a simple and immediate way of checking that all wheel nuts are tight and secure. Checkpoint has more than 30 years of renowned expertise and quality, and with the invention of the visual nut indicator, the company revolutionized the world of road safety.
With the acquisition of Checkpoint, Martins adds to its extensive lineup of products for wheel safety solutions, namely, a variety of visual indicators of nut movement.
