Porsche Cars Canada announced the addition of Porsche Centre Vancouver as the fourth Porsche Classic Partner (PCP) in Canada, following the establishment of the program in 2014.
The others include Porsche Centre Victoria in 2016, Pfaff Porsche in 2017, and Porsche Centre Lauzon in 2019. The company’s Vancouver centre represents the second PCP on the west coast, 17th PCP in North America, and 78th globally.
“There are more than 20,000 Porsche Classic models registered in Canada,” said Marc Ouayoun, President and CEO of Porsche Cars Canada. “With certified Classic Partners located throughout our network, the needs of our customers continue to remain in our core focus.”
The program aims to recognize Porsche Centres worldwide that show an expertise and passion for classic cars, and to focus on the sale and maintenance of Porsche classic models.
A “Classic Partner” can receive certification after checking off certain criteria: having defined “Classic Technicians” with completed training courses annually, dedicated workshop bays to “Classic” customer repair work, the appointing of a “Classic Specialist” within the dealership, and a “Classic Corner” in the showroom to display news and information.
“The Classic Specialist has direct access to the Classic experts at Porsche Canada and Porsche AG and can schedule restoration work within the Centre or arrange with the facilities in Atlanta, Georgia, USA or Freiberg, Germany,” said the company in a news release.
Porsche Centre Vancouver has been serving the city for 22 years, and is considered the largest of its kind in Western Canada and the second largest Porsche sales volume in the country.
