Genesis Motors Canada celebrated its fifth anniversary on November 21, having launched on the same day five years ago into the Canadian luxury automotive market with a unique omni-channel business model.
The company sells its vehicles in Canada online at a negotiation-free and all-inclusive price, and it includes things like complimentary scheduled maintenance and at-home valet services—all of which proved particularly useful when the pandemic first took root here.
“Genesis was built on the foundation of delivering exceptional customer experiences, ultimately redefining what it means to own a luxury vehicle,” said Lawrence Hamilton, Executive Director of Genesis Motors Canada. “This is only the beginning. With electrification, new retail facilities and more exciting news ahead of us, our future has never been brighter.”
In a news release, the company said it observed “significant growth” across all areas of the business, with sales outpacing the past four years combined, year-to-date. Genesis also said it doubled its retail footprint to support its rapid growth, expanding from 15 to 30 distributors nationwide.
The company will continue to build on the momentum it developed over the past few years and build Genesis Retail Experience Centres across the country to further its omni-channel presence. The first centre is set to open in the coming months.
