Porsche Cars Canada is teaming up with hospitality and leisure properties to offer electric vehicle chargers for drivers of premier travel destinations.
These Porsche-designed AC chargers aim to top off EV batteries while drivers enjoy a meal, stay the night, or spend time at a winery or golf course. It is also meant to complement the OEM’s Porsche Destination Charging network, which is a growing national infrastructure providing charging for the electric Porsche Taycan.
“An integral part of a sustainable mobility model is its fast and convenient electric vehicle charging network,” said Marc Ouayoun, President and CEO of Porsche Cars Canada. “The success of the Taycan as the brand’s first all-electric vehicle as well as our commitment to the electric future of our sports cars support this investment alongside others in our growing charging infrastructure.”
The OEM’s AC chargers can be found at hotels and resorts, including The Ritz-Carlton Toronto and Sofitel Montréal Le Carré Doré, and at wineries such as Martin’s Lane and CedarCreek Estate in British Columbia.
Porsche Destination Charging currently includes seven active locations in Canada, and five under construction. All locations are listed in the Porsche Charging NA app.
