Quebecor Media Expertise teamed up with the Quebec dealers’ association (otherwise known as the Corporation des concessionnaires d’automobiles du Québec or the CCAQ) to launch Otogo, a new platform to buy and sell used vehicles across Quebec.

Otogo will replace the website Occasion en or, and is meant to provide car buyers with a simple and intuitive experience, with access to the largest inventory of certified used vehicles within the province. The site is described as a “100 per cent Quebec-based company” that makes use of its advertising, data and client-experience.

“Powered by quality inventory and the CCAQ’s solid reputation, we’ve developed a fluid and user-friendly platform to meet the expectations of Quebec consumers,” said Patrick Jutras, Senior Vice President and Chief Advertising Revenue Officer for Quebecor and TVA Group.

Quebecor Media Expertise is part of the larger Quebecor corporation (the media and telecommunications company) and is known for its Journal de Montréal and TVA television network, among other things.

“We’re delighted to team up with Quebecor to offer consumers the ultimate used-car buying and selling ecosystem in Quebec, based on a secure purchasing process that boasts the largest inventory of quality used vehicles on the market,” said Robert Poëti, President and CEO of the CCAQ.

Some of the platform’s feature include notices sent when a “favourite” vehicle is sold, drops in price, or receives multiple visits; content is delivered based on consumer purchase intentions; access to the Guide de l’auto evaluations on every vehicle’s detailed chart is provided; and there is also the ability to contact a CCAQ dealer member through the online platform.
