Reynolds and Reynolds announced a new partnership in Canada, where it will be teaming up with DealerCorp Solutions (based in Markham, Ont.) and become a licensed reseller of its desking product.
Deskit is DealerCorp’s digital retailing solution that allows dealers to present sales and F&I options on any screen, including wall-mounted screens, kiosks, tablets, and personal computers.
“Deskit’s functionality perfectly complements Reynolds’ eWorkflow solution for our Era-Ignite customers, bringing modern desking to dealers’ fingertips,” said Lance Alverson, Area Vice President of Sales at Reynolds. “The value in fully involving a customer in the sales process and turning them into an active participant cannot be overstated.”
Alverson said doing so changes the customer’s posture from defensive to proactive.
Stockit, an optical character recognition (OCR) solution, will also be available. The tool reads dealership inventory invoices and automatically uploads them to Deskit.
