Hyundai to reportedly cut 50% of combustion-engine models from lineup

Hyundai reportedly plans to reduce the number of combustion-engined models in its lineup by 50 per cent so it can invest in electric vehicles, according to Driving.ca. “While Hyundai did not specifically address a Reuters query on its plans for combustion-engine models, it said in an email on Thursday that it was accelerating adoption of eco-friendly vehicles such as hydrogen fuel cell vehicles and battery EVs.” The OEM wants to sell one million EVs per year by 2025.
