Ontario to boost ethanol content to 15% in gasoline

Ontario plans to increase the ethanol content in gasoline to 15% from 10% by 2030 to help fight climate change, which could also potentially benefit corn farmers in the province. “We know about one-third of all greenhouse gas emissions in the province come from transportation, which is why increasing the amount of renewable content in gasoline is such an important step towards fighting climate change and driving down emissions,” said Environment Minister Jeff Yurek.(Source: Driving.ca) Read the original article…
