Third-party tire storage provider Distribution Stox has expanded into the Atlantic regions with its latest acquisition of Unimax Tire Distribution.
The company already also has a presence in Ontario, and Quebec where it is based.
“The Atlantic Provinces distribution network serves customers in New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia, and Newfoundland,” said Distribution Stox in its news release. “These customers are served daily from the Moncton, Dartmouth and St. John’s sites and will join the current distribution network which will now have 20 distribution centres offering more than 900,000 square foot of storage.”
The company plans to work on its transition plan over the next few weeks and months to better manage the new product lines, the use of new management tools, and the sharing of expertise.
