Tesla filed a lawsuit on July 23, 2020 against its competitor Rivian, an American electric vehicle start-up with facilities across the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom. In the lawsuit, Tesla claimed that Rivian poached its employees and stole trade secrets. According to Tesla, 178 of Rivian’s 2,300 staff are former Tesla employees, including Tami Pascale, Kim Wong, Jessica Siron, and Carrington Bradley, all of whom are also named in the lawsuit.
