Volkswagen AG and Ford Motor Company appear to be moving ahead with plans to partner on electric and driverless cars, amid COVID-19. “The deal is expected to close by the end of next month, with both sides recognizing a need to share the large investments needed to develop battery-powered and autonomous cars,” according to the Detroit Free Press.
