The Hyundai Motor Group is exploring the idea of using UV light to disinfect vehicle interiors. “HMG is about to use UV light sterilization technology on their vehicles,” said the company in a blog post. “HMG is planning to develop an interior cabin light that also contains a sterilization feature.” The idea will be to use a ceiling-mounted device to sterilize the seats, floor mats, dashboard, and the steering wheel, and all at the same time.
