Ford studying social-distancing wristbands

As automakers prepare for the eventual, and gradual reopening of facilities, Ford is studying the effects of workers wearing wristbands that buzz when they are closer than two metres from each other. “Ford and the UAW are working closely to identify different ways to keep our people safe while they’re at work,” said Ford spokesperson Kelli Felker, who is working with the United Auto Workers union.
