Cox Automotive Canada will continue the Osman Auction in Alberta under the name Manheim Edmonton, which means customers will benefit from a few additional perks.
The company said Osman customers will continue to receive the same local experience, while also benefiting from a wide range of vehicles to choose from and access to a suite of mechanical, financing, fleet and retail-ready services (such as 24/7 digital listings through the new MUVIT digital auction marketplace).
“As a family organization itself, the Cox Automotive Canada team is excited and committed to building upon the 37 years of proud traditions and community values that the Osman family has provided to Alberta residents, while adding many of the benefits that our size, advanced technology and experience can deliver,” said Jerome Dwight, Vice President, Inventory & Financial Solutions, Cox Automotive Canada.
It will be “business as usual” for operations at both locations. Some Osman employees have also joined the Manheim team, as the company seeks to ensure that the user experience remains consistent for customers.
Sam Osman, CEO and President of the Osman Auction in Edmonton said he was pleased that the auction will remain in good hands, and that he “can’t wait to see how much further it can grow as part of the Cox Automotive family.”
