CarsArrive Network, part of KAR Auction Services, recently launched a consumer-direct vehicle transportation and logistics service known as CarsArrive Auto Relocation in the continental U.S.
This retail relocation business is meant to serve consumers (individuals and corporate and commercial clients) directly, allowing them to ship their car anywhere in the U.S. via CarsRelo.com.
“Individuals need access to dependable transportation services for their personal vehicles, whether they’re moving across the country or across the state,” said Michael Briggs, president and CEO of CarsArrive. “CarsRelo meets that need for consumers, and our end-to-end services make shipping your car with us faster, safer, and easier.”
There are more than 150 service centres across the country that offer secure locations for these vehicles, with paved lots and 24-hour surveillance for vehicle marshalling and storage, said KAR Auction Services in a news release.
CarsRelo offers five types of transportation services: Carrier Direct Service, Service Centre to Service Centre, Service Centre to Door, Door to Service Centre, or Door to Door. Service types and quotes are available on the website, and dates for vehicle pickups or drop offs can be scheduled directly online.
“The benefits to the consumer are enormous,” said Erin Almand, director of business development for CarsArrive. “We have the resources to deliver a personal experience — when a customer calls, they are connected to a person right away.”
She adds that they have numerous shipping options in the industry, and have the ability to transport the vehicles safely and efficiently.
