OpenRoad Auto Group has been named one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies — now for the seventh consecutive year.
The B.C. dealership group was honoured with the Platinum Club award, which is the program’s highest level of corporate recognition. The award winners are considered to be among the “best-in-class of Canadian owned and managed companies,” pulling in revenues of more than $15 million.
“We are continually striving to offer a better experience and unlimited possibilities for our employees and customers, so to achieve the Platinum level as one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies truly validates our efforts to raise the bar within our industry,” said Christian Chia, Chief Executive Officer of OpenRoad Auto Group.
To win the award, companies must demonstrate a clear strategy and vision, investment in capability, and commitment to talent to achieve sustainable growth.
OpenRoad Auto Group is the largest automotive dealership group in B.C., according to the company. They have more than 1,500 associates representing 21 automotive brands at 33 dealerships.
The group has been employing new technologies and programs to improve the customer experience. New additions include Portfolio, a luxury car subscription service, and Payment Engine, a digital platform where customers can search for new and used cars by payment level.
Winners of Canada’s 2019 Best Managed Companies award, along with Requalified, Gold Standard, Gold Requalified winners and Platinum Club members, will be honoured at an annual gala in Toronto on April 17.
