End-to-end business flow

Providing dealers with tools that offer an end-to-end flow can help them save time and smooth out their entire business process, according to Maury Marks, President & CEO, Quorum Information Technologies.
The whole end-to-end conversation was another popular topic at this year’s NADA Show in San Francisco. Quorum is one of many companies looking at this tactic as a way of providing more value to dealers.
“Our vision has always been: we want to be an end-to-end business process and we want to provide all the pieces with our Sales CRM,” said Marks. “Now we are at the point where we really should be an end-to-end business process for dealerships in service where you don’t really need that many other third party products. And that’s what we’re trying to do for dealerships.”
The company offers a platform known as XSellerator, which is meant to streamline a dealer’s operations and help generate revenue in all departments — including sales, fixed operations and accounting. One component of that is their Sales CRM product that has been described as a “critical piece of the sales process” as it helps reduce transaction times.
They also have a product known as Communicator, their messaging tool. Marks said they now have about two-thirds of their customers using that product, and have processed nearly 100,000 messages a day across their dealerships.
“It’s an absolute hit for us,” said Marks. “All along that process we have to keep the customer informed and Communicator is just such a natural fit as a platform across all of our different divisions.”
When asked about the show, Marks said they were showing off a new user interface at their booth. “In 2019, we’re going to be innovating an awful lot on that product. We have some exciting things planned for 2019. It’s the battleground for that customer experience.”
