Joe Shirjang has returned to Kijiji Canada to lead its automotive sales team as the company’s Western Canada Sales Manager.
Shirjang brings nearly 15 years of experience in both retail and vendor channels to the job. Some of his previous positions include Regional Sales Manager at autoTRADER.ca. And he has worked as an Outside Territory Manager for Kijiji’s Alberta and Saskatchewan provinces.
“Joe was the clear choice for us, largely due to his autos experience and his proven track record in leading high-performance sales teams,” said Will Harris, Head of Sales, Autos at Kijiji. “We’re thrilled to welcome Joe back, where he will lead our team’s growth plans and extend our value-based services to dealers out West.”
In his new position, Shirjang will be responsible for ensuring the continued growth of the Autos vertical in the Western part of Canada. He will do this by providing strategic support and digital marketing best practices to both new and existing car dealership customers. He is also expected to bring a renewed focus to relationship management and dealer engagement on the platform.
“Coming back to the Autos team in the midst of this exciting period was a no brainer for me, especially given the tremendous growth in dealer partners, the addition of new cars and several new vendor partnerships, like SpinCar, to name a few,” said Shirjang. “I’m looking forward to spending more time with our dealers in the West and enabling them to better connect with the car shopping audience on Kijiji.”
