Barenaked Ladies confirmed for NAD’eh party

It’s been confirmed: 2018 Canadian Hall of Fame inductees and Juno winners the Barenaked Ladies will be performing at the next Canada Night NAD’eh party, set to take place in San Francisco in 2019.

The announcement was made on August 7 by the event’s organizing committee.

“We are so excited to have Barenaked Ladies perform at Canada Night NAD’eh,” said event chair Lara Appleton. “They are a true Canadian rock band and what a better way to kick off your NADA conference than with all your Canadian friends and BNL performing live on stage. It’s going to be a spectacular night.”

Last year’s event welcomed Alan Doyle from Great Big Sea, who performed in front of a crowd of Canadian dealers and suppliers of the automotive retail industry. There were more than 450 people registered for the party, which took place at Vinyl nightclub at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. The event was supported by 20 sponsors.

To date there are 19 confirmed sponsors for 2019 event — one of them being the Canadian Automobile Dealers Association (CADA). “We are happy to throw our support behind Canada Night NAD’eh and sponsor the event again,” said CADA President and CEO John White. “Supporting our industry via Canada Night NAD’eh encourages camaraderie within the industry and a great way to celebrate what unites us.”

The exclusive event is attended by sponsoring vendors and is free for all Canadian dealers — along with their spouses and teams. It is also free for all Provincial Dealer Association board members and their teams, according to a news release.

The next big party is set to take place Thursday, January 24, 2019 at The Mezzanine San Francisco. It will be followed by the annual National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) conference.
