Alberta dealer offering test-drive to home

The Koch Lincoln dealership in Alberta is rolling out a new program that will allow car buyers to skip the in-store visit and schedule a new vehicle test drive directly from the company website.

In yet another example of an automotive group moving towards consumer convenience and personalization, the program also ensures the vehicle is conveniently delivered to the consumer’s home, workplace, or a location in the Edmonton area.

The Koch program takes into account the busy schedule of consumers.

“Koch believes that buying a new vehicle doesn’t have to be complicated,” said Koch Director of Lincoln Sales, Les Koch. “Our goal as a Lincoln dealership is to improve the buying experience by creating a low pressure, high value buying experience. This new service aims at transforming the tired test drive by enabling a car buyer to view any new Lincoln vehicle, delivered on-demand, at their convenience.”

The Koch program takes into account the busy schedule of consumers looking to purchase a vehicle. It allows them to bypass the dealership visit and have the vehicle brought directly to them for a one-hour test drive. The goal of the program is to create a more relaxed, personalized, one-on-one experience for the potential car buyer, allowing them to “examine and drive the vehicle in their own environment,” according to Koch Automotive Group’s news release.

The Koch Automotive Group plans to offer its new program to their Edmonton Lincoln dealership in the third quarter of the year.
