A Celebration of Life event is being organized to honour the life and many achievements of Canadian auto industry icon Kathy Ward.

The event will be held January 23, 2018 at the Universal EventSpace located at 6250 Highway 7, Vaughan, Ont., L4H 4G3. It will take place between 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., and it will include a tribute at 3:00 p.m.

The family has also asked that those with pictures they wish to share can send it to info@tada.ca, along with any notes they wish to extend to the family. Contributions can also be made to Ward’s favourite charity, the Tim Horton Children’s Foundation, as an expression of sympathy.

The past President and CEO at Canadian Black Book passed away on Christmas Eve after fighting a long battle against cancer. She was 60 years old. Her pioneering career and impact on the auto industry as a women has left a memorable and inspiring story behind.

“Kathy, and the Ward family have given so much to the auto industry in Canada,” said Brad Rome, President, Canadian Black Book. “We are going to remember that, build on it and we will miss her dearly.”
