The 2017 TalkAUTO Canada conference coming Nov. 8

Canadian Black Book and J.D. Power are gearing up for their sixth annual TalkAUTO Canada conference, which is set to take place Nov. 8 at the Toronto Congress Centre.

Past events have been a success, and with an early rush of registrations and organizers planning for 400 attendees this year, the conference may very well exceed expectations —  again.

“It really is the content, topics and speakers that make this event so successful,” says Brad Rome, President of Canadian Black Book. “We make every effort to put focus on the issues that affect our industry today, and provide leading presenters to provide the necessary insights.”

This year’s conference theme is “Customer Engagement in a Digital World.” The event will feature keynote speakers like Larry Hutchinson, President and CEO of Toyota Canada, and Josh Bloom, Automotive Practice Leader, Facebook Canada.

Hutchinson will kickoff the event with a presentation about “Setting a Course to the Future of Mobility,” and Bloom will discuss how “Mobile Moves Metal.” Other auto industry experts will also be present to offer their take on the event theme.

Those attending the TalkAUTO Canada conferences come from a range of auto industry segments, according to the news release. There is a particularly strong representation from manufacturers, retailers, financial and data providers, marketing agencies, aftermarket suppliers, and media.
