DrivingSales Canadian Dealer Forum to be held in Calgary

DrivingSales is holding a two-day conference in Calgary in July. Ted Graham, head of Open Innovation at General Motors, will be the event keynote. Other speakers will be focusing on leveraging technology, digital media and people power to “show participants step-by-step how to engage with the most actionable strategies and insights specifically for Canada’s Automotive Retail Industry,” said the dealership business solutions provider on its website.

The event will take place July 17-18, and will feature workshops and speakers on using video to enhance customer engagement, understanding metrics to measure your dealership’s ability to connect with customers along with customer retention strategies dealers are using in Fixed Ops and other areas.

Graham’s keynote, “Competing with Disruptive Innovation” will focus on building a culture in your dealership team to apply and identify opportunities for innovation effectively, while discovering “why innovation does not mean buying the newest shiny technology for your dealership,” said DrivingSales on its website.

Graham’s book The Uber of Everything: How the Freed Market Economy is Disrupting and Delighting, is scheduled for release later this year.

Other speakers include DrivingSales Founder and CEO, Jared Hamilton, Ian Cruickshank, VP of Sales and Marketing, Speed Shift Media, Bryan Harwood, Chief Technology Officer, Outsell LLC, Alexi Venneri, CEO and Co-Founder, Digital Air Strike and other automotive sales and marketing leaders.
