Chevrolet holds largest vehicle launch

You’ve probably seen the ads on TV and in the newspapers as Chevrolet Canada is launching an aggressive marketing campaign for its new models. Chevrolet Canada says it has embarked on its largest vehicle launch in history adding the all-new Chevrolet Sonic, Orlando and Volt to its line-up.

“This is another important milestone as the all-new Chevrolet Sonic and Orlando join the Volt in redefining what people can expect from Chevrolet,” says Kevin Williams, president and managing director, GM Canada.”With the addition of these exciting new cars, Chevrolet can celebrate its upcoming centennial with its strongest product line-up ever.”

For their launch event this week, visitors to Yonge Dundas Square were treated to an interactive experience, including test drives, a free concert by Fitz and the Tantrums, live graffiti art, presentations by Nanny Robina and Erica Ehm, a Laughing Yoga session with Wendy Woods and an interactive packing challenge. All the power required for the celebration is being provided by Bullfrog Power.

For those Canadians not able to participate in person, the Chevrolet celebration is the first Canadian event to be live streamed on the YouTube homepage.

Chevrolet describes its all-new 2012 Sonic as a small car with a youthful, aggressive design backed by turbocharged performance and agile ride and handling, combining to deliver an efficient, fun-to-drive small car.

The Chevrolet Orlando is a family vehicle, combining 7-seater practicality and interior flexibility with striking crossover style design.

The Chevrolet Volt is the industry’s first electric vehicle with extended range.
