New acquisition sees DealerTrack emerge with increased web capability
DealerTrack AAX recently inked a deal with eCarList LLC, a company specializing in inventory management and merchandising.
The deal sees the acquisition of the entirety of eCar’s assets.
According to DealerTrack, the new agreement will provide dealerships with a comprehensive vehicle management offering.
The management team and president and CEO of eCarList Len Critcher will remain with the combined company.
“The combination of DealerTrack AAX and eCarList will drive even more innovation to help dealerships generate additional vehicle interest and higher quality Internet and showroom traffic, all while maximizing overall deal profits.”
While full details of the deal have not been released yet, DealerTrack says the financial impact will be included in their second quarter report.
The acquisition will be completed by the end of July, says the company.
