NADA and Mercedes-Benz USA announce partnership

The National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) and Mercedes-Benz USA partnered to form an exclusive training program. The program is being offered on NADA U, a web-based resource assisting dealers with the knowledge and information needed to develop skills and confidence.

The new training program is the first time an OEM has partnered with NADA U on such a program.

As a result of the partnership, Mercedes-Benz USA can provide its dealers with 24/7 access to a wealth of interactive training courses, webinars, data, industry updates and best practice examples offered by NADA U.

“Choosing to partner with NADA University came easily, considering the organization’s leadership position in the industry”, said Christine Lohrfink, manager of corporate training at MBUSA. “They have valuable learning resources on industry trends and information”, she said.

NADA U, which launched last year exclusively to NADA and America Truck Dealers (ATD), quickly earned a reputation for providing auto dealers with step-by-step business management techniques and analyses.

NADA says Mercedes-Benz USA’s commitment to continuously develop its field professionals with a dealer point-of-view was instrumental in allowing OEM access.

Additionally, Mercedes-Benz USA says choosing to partner with NADA U came easily because “[it] is a natural extension of the training we offer our field managers”, said Lohrfink.
