Canadian auto dealers looking to serve business customers will have access to additional commercial vehicle financing options through a new partnership between Catalyst Finance Company and CreditApp.
The agreement integrates Catalyst’s business vehicle financing program into CreditApp’s digital credit application platform, which serves dealerships across Canada. The move is intended to simplify the application process for dealers arranging financing for business and corporate customers.
The program covers eligible new and used commercial vehicles, including work trucks, transit vans, cargo vans and panel vans. It may also accommodate businesses purchasing multiple vehicles, along with certain related assets such as trailers and equipment.
“When we decided to expand our business vehicle financing program, we wanted to integrate it into a system that would create a positive experience for both dealers and their business customers,” said Chris Waite, Managing Partner at Catalyst Finance Company, in a statement.
“CreditApp stood out for its user-friendly platform and the development and support team behind it. Together, we’re making it easier for dealers to access financing options for their business customers.”
Under the arrangement, dealerships submit financing applications directly through CreditApp. Catalyst then handles transaction reviews, financing structures and support throughout the process, from the initial application to funding.
Evan Ferguson, founder and head of growth at CreditApp, said the partnership broadens the financing solutions available through its network.
“Their program expands the financing options available to our dealers and helps them serve the needs of their business customers,” said Ferguson.
The partnership adds another financing channel for dealerships serving commercial customers, particularly those seeking vehicles for business operations or managing fleet requirements. Access to financing for multiple vehicles and related equipment could also help dealerships accommodate more complex business purchases while keeping the application process within an existing digital platform.
