Groupe Park Avenue opens Quebec’s first Retail.NEXT dealership

Groupe Park Avenue has officially opened its new BMW / MINI Brossard dealership, the first in Quebec — and among the first in Canada — to showcase BMW’s global Retail.NEXT concept.

The opening, celebrated recently with an exclusive event for guests, partners, and BMW Group Canada representatives, highlights a major milestone for both the dealership group and the OEM. The $15-million project spans 38,000 square feet, including 12,000 square feet for the main showroom and delivery spaces and 3,000 square feet for the MINI brand. It marks the first time both brands share a single location in Brossard.

“With Retail.NEXT, we are offering our clients more than a dealership — we are redefining the customer experience with an immersive, welcoming, and refined environment that truly reflects the spirit of BMW and MINI Brossard,” said Norman John Hébert, President and CEO of Groupe Park Avenue, in a statement.

The building incorporates a solar wall, a rainwater recovery basin, and other sustainability measures. And a six-foot Inukshuk, sculpted from white Gatineau granite by Inuit artist Koomuatuk (Kuzy) Curley of Kinngait, Nunavut, stands at the service entrance. It’s meant to symbolize unity and guidance, while also paying tribute to Inuit art and culture.

The Brossard location reflects BMW’s evolving retail strategy as the brand prepares to introduce the Neue Klasse, a new generation of vehicles representing BMW’s next step in electrification and digital mobility.

“The opening of this spectacular new facility coincides with the launch of the Neue Klasse — a new era of individual mobility for the BMW Group,” said Andrew Scott, President and CEO, BMW Group Canada, in a statement. “The Neue Klasse is not only a new vehicle; it represents a whole new way of doing business. It’s clear that Groupe Park Avenue is ready to embrace this new era.”
