Honda will return to the Vancouver International Auto Show in 2026, marking its first appearance at the event in more than five years and a notable shift in manufacturer participation at one of Western Canada’s largest auto shows.
The return, scheduled for March 25 to 29 at the Vancouver Convention Centre, is being led by the Honda Dealers of B.C., whose collective backing helped bring the brand back to the show floor. Organizers say Honda’s participation has helped accelerate demand from other manufacturers, with the 2026 show now officially sold out of exhibitor space.
“Honda’s return represents a milestone moment, not just for our Show but for automotive fans across British Columbia,” said Vancouver Auto Show executive director Eric Nicholl in a statement. “The enthusiasm from manufacturers this year has been extraordinary. With Honda leading the charge, a sold-out floorplan, and more than 30 participating brands, the 2026 Show will deliver one of the most dynamic and comprehensive automotive showcases we’ve ever produced.”
Honda last appeared at the Vancouver show in the late 2010s. Its re-entry places the brand in the main exhibition halls, where it is expected to showcase new models, updated technologies and electrified vehicles. Show officials say Honda is the first of several major manufacturers expected to confirm participation ahead of the 2026 event.
Honda’s return may signal renewed OEM interest in large-scale consumer auto shows after several years of reduced participation. A sold-out floor plan and a growing list of manufacturers suggest the Vancouver show is regaining relevance as a venue for product exposure, brand presence and consumer engagement.
Tickets for the 2026 show are currently on sale. The event’s organizers say additional manufacturer announcements are expected early next year.
