CCAM Summit: Bill 30, AI and what’s next

The Corporation des concessionnaires automobiles de Montréal (CCAM) will hold its second annual Sommet de la CCAM on Jan. 14, 2026, at the InterContinental Montréal, bringing dealers and industry leaders together to tackle the issues reshaping retail in Quebec and beyond.

The full-day program will focus on practical, near-term pressure points for stores, including the legal and strategic impacts of Quebec’s Bill 30, how to integrate artificial intelligence in dealerships, and what Canadian retailers should watch for as Chinese OEMs expand their global footprint.

The agenda also includes an economic and political update for the automotive sector, a deep dive into F&I and compliance considerations tied to Bill 30, and a dealer panel sharing takeaways from the CADA China Tour. Sessions will also explore how dealerships can better understand and serve newcomer customers, with insights expected from Léger Marketing.

Radio host Isabelle Maréchal will moderate the day, which will close with a networking cocktail.

Even for dealers outside the Montreal market, the CCAM summit program signals where the conversation is moving in 2026: tighter regulatory scrutiny, fast-moving AI tools that will touch every department, and an increasingly global competitive set. Dealers who get ahead of these shifts, especially compliance and digital execution, will be better positioned to protect margins and customer trust.
