As suppliers of the electric vehicle market continue to innovate, EV charger manufacturer United Chargers recently announced a charger as a service subscription model.
The company is best known for its Grizzl-E line of products. The new program is known as the Grizzl-E Club and it provides a free EV Charger and pays drivers back for charging. On July 1, it became exclusively available in Canada. United Chargers said the program is designed to make EV ownership more rewarding, accessible, and future-ready.
Gleb Nikiforov, CEO of United Chargers, said the company’s focus is on making EV charging more accessible and affordable. “With the launch of the Grizzl-E Club, we’re ushering in a new era where charging equipment and support are free for life,” he said in a statement.
The program offers a free Grizzl-E EV charger, no-fee for the first year of membership, $0.03 cashback per kWh of energy delivered to the EV, and a lifetime warranty support. According to the company, its charger-as-a-service subscription model is the first of its kind.
