A tire shortage issue may be on the horizon

Greater demand for rubber and tires from China, combined with COVID-19 restrictions affecting rubber tree planting and a lack of shipping containers, may create a global tire shortage issue, according to Car and Driver. For 2020, tire manufacturers suggested it was not an issue. “As for 2021, a source told Bloomberg that ‘[The rubber supply is] definitely tightening up.
