Consumer Reports (CR) has ranked General Motors’ SuperCruise above Tesla’s Autopilot, noting that the latter came in “a distant second.” GM’s system scored 69 out of a possible 100, while 17 vehicles were tested with driving assistance systems. “The best systems allow drivers to activate the steering and speed control independently so that drivers can decide exactly how much assistance they want to use, and only have a single lane keeping system that performs consistently,” said Kelly Funkhouser of CR.
