New senior VP named at Altrom Auto Group

Jeff Van de Sande has been named Senior Vice President of Altrom Auto Group, according to a recent announcement by UAP.

The company’s new senior VP is said to have more than 20 years of experience in the automotive aftermarket, and has spend a decade as President of Bestbuy Distributors.

In his new role, Van de Sande will be working with various management team members, including Dave Pawlowski, VP of Sales and Marketing; Paul Wilkes, VP of Operations; and, Robert Chartrand, VP of Product Development. He will also be based out of the Toronto, Ont. office.

Altrom officially joined UAP on January 1 as a specialized division that focuses on distributing automotive parts for European and Asian vehicles.

“Over the last 45 years, Altrom Auto Group has built a strong, recognized and respected brand and represents a rapidly-growing segment in Canada,” said UAP in its news release. “With the addition of Altrom Auto Group, UAP now has four strategic growth pillars: automotive parts (NAPA); heavy-vehicle parts (TW, Traction, Cadel, Belcher); paint and body equipment (CMAX); and, import car parts (Altrom Auto Group).”
