Mitsubishi has teamed up with Breakfast Club of Canada for a multi-year partnership to help provide financial support for Breakfast Club of Canada.
The carmaker said the partnership is also about expanding community participation and fundraising from the brand’s 90 Canadian dealerships.
“Our society needs bright, stimulated young minds to nurture the innovation that leads to a greener, more sustainable future. That’s at the core of our new partnership with Breakfast Club of Canada, and it complements our respective brands,” said Kenny Yamamoto, President and CEO, Mitsubishi Motor Sales of Canada, in a written release.
Mitsubishi Motors said it hopes to contribute at least $100,000 plus vehicles in the first fiscal year. The revenue generated from the fundraising is expected to feed approximately 100,000 Canadian children, as well as help launch breakfast programs for schools on the national waiting list.
“We are proud to be partnering with Mitsubishi Motors and offer students the chance to start their day with the fuel they need to learn,” said Daniel Germain, founder of Breakfast Club of Canada.
