AutoCanada’s Pat Priestner has acquired SouthView Acura through his holding company, PPH.
PPH will control 75 per cent of the dealership, while Dave King, Owner and Dealer Principal, will own 25 per cent, said Priestner.
The transaction was reviewed and approved by AutoCanada’s independent members of the Board of Directors, said the automotive dealership group in a statement.
Southview Acura has been servicing the Edmonton area for 14 years, and in 2015, sold 485 new vehicles and 175 used.
“I am extremely excited about receiving Honda Canada’s approval to add this Acura dealership to our group. We are very happy to have the opportunity to work closely with the King family and continue the legacy that they have built,” said Priestner in a written release.
“I would again like to thank Honda Canada and the entire Honda team for all of their hard work and assistance with this transaction. I look forward to a long-term, mutually rewarding partnership.”
In November 2015, Priestner formed PPH specifically to purchase the Whitby Oshawa Honda dealership in Ontario.
