Mercedes-Benz Thornhill marked its grand re-opening with a lavish celebration in Thornhill, Ont. on September 28, 2015.
The new Mercedes-Benz sales and service facility is bigger and better than ever before. The modern and hip dealership includes one massive showroom for new and pre-owned vehicles, as well as 32 service bays, underground and rooftop parking for more than 300 vehicles, and an elaborate 10 car drive-through – all part of an extensive $27-million project.

“It’s time to proudly reveal our vision. A vision that has now become reality: a brand new modern facility that was built for you, to better serve you, our customers,” said Philipp von Witzendorff, Vice-President of the Toronto Retail Operations for Mercedes-Benz Canada, before he officially cut the ribbon alongside members of the dealership team.
Hundreds of attendees also had a chance to check out the German automaker’s expanding lineup, including the all-new second generation GLK, which will now be called the GLC.
Earlier this year, Mercedes-Benz launched the Mercedes-Maybach S600, the C 450 AMG Sport, and the Mercedes-AMG C63.
Later this year, new vehicles such as the smart fortwo and the new Metris urban commercial van, will join the other vehicles on the showroom floor.
Mercedes-Benz is the fastest growing luxury brand worldwide. In Canada, it holds the top spot in the luxury car segment. Sales were up 21.2 per cent over last year at the end of August 2015.
